450 Class Stats
To the Rulebook: For the first time this season a tiebreaker determined the overall winner in the 450 Class with Eli Tomac edging out Ken Roczen for the win at Washougal via his second moto victory.
Late Season Surge: Tomac has won two of the last three rounds of competition, but still faces a 55-point deficit to Roczen in the championship standings.
A Rare Defeat: Roczen was passed for a moto win for just the third time this season. He’s shown an uncanny ability to either maintain or improve his starting position, gaining an average of nearly one position per moto.
Big Day at JGR: Joe Gibbs Racing enjoyed its best collective outing at Washougal, putting all three of its riders – Weston Peick, Justin Barcia, and Phil Nicoletti – inside the overall top 10. This came one week after BTO Sports KTM accomplished the same feat.
Shorty Finishing Strong: With just three rounds left in his successful career Andrew Short is picking up momentum, posting his best effort of the season at Washougal and vaulting into the top 10 in points for the first time this season.
Rookie to Watch: Pro Motocross rookie Benny Bloss is making his presence felt in the 450 Class, breaking into the top 10 in points after recording his fourth straight top 10 overall finish.
More Attrition: Following a crash while battling for second at Washougal Christophe Pourcel will be forced to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a fracture of the same C-6 vertebrae that sidelined defending champion Ryan Dungey.

250 Class Stats
Patience Pays Off: After recording five second-place moto finishes and leading 40 laps of competition Alex Martin finally claimed his first moto win of the season at Washougal, going wire-to-wire in the opening moto en route to his second career overall victory.
Adding Names: The first moto wins of the season for both Alex Martin and Austin Forkner at Washougal marked the first time since Glen Helen that both moto winners took their first checkered flag. A total of six riders have now won a 250 Class moto this season.
Bump in the Road: Cooper Webb’s streak of nine straight moto podium finishes ended in the second moto at Washougal. His average finish of 1.5 during that stretch was nearly two positions better than the rest of the division (Jeremy Martin posted a 3.4 average).
Incredible Competition: The competition in the 250 Class is at an all-time high this season. Currently Alex Martin holds the best starting average in the division at a surprising 5.5, while Cooper Webb is averaging a class-leading finishing average of 2.9.
Pro Circuit’s Best Yet: Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki enjoyed his best collective outing at Washougal, placing all four of its riders – Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy, Adam Cianciarulo, and Arnaud Tonus – inside the top eight, with two moto podium results.
Champ Sidelined: In a recent announcement on social media defending back-to-back champion Jeremy Martin revealed that he will be forced to miss the remainder of the season due to an injury suffered at the previous round at Washougal.
