German WSB Results (Race 2)

Chaz Davies (Ducati) completed a double this weekend at the German WSB round by taking the win in both Race 1 and Race 2. Davies quickly overcame the grid penalty associated with winning Race 1, and after taking the lead from Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) built a comfortable gap that he held to the finish.

Rea finished second, with Marco Melandri (Ducati) third. Rea increased his championship points lead as his teammate Tom Sykes finished in fourth position. You will find full Race 2 results here. For additional details and points, visit the official WSB site.

Looks like most of us here like me have yet been able see the BEin telecast of these 2 Superbike races, so we can’t give an opinion on them. I normally like BEin, but not this time.

Once Davies got in front near the beginning of the 1st race it was somewhat boring.

But since Davies had to start in row 3 in the 2nd race, it wasn’t boring at all. Rea got in front after finally passing Melandri(Ducati) and then it took until the half way mark for Davies to pass Rea (Kawi). After that Davies pulled ahead to the end and it was a copy of the 1st race. Congrats, Davies !!
