Yamaha’s Maverick Viñales will start from pole position in tomorrow’s Misano MotoGP race. Qualifying on the front row with Viñales were Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) and Marc Marquez (Honda). Marquez fell near the end of qualifying (unhurt) while pushing to overtake Viñales.

ok, now the next question we need to answer is the KIT unhurt. not being a boffin, seems the boy was overconfident in the information fed him back in Blighty.
Looks like young Maverick has found his legs again
Late max effort by Maverick put him on top. Marquez did some Moto3 BS earlier in the session that may have cost him pole. He abandoned a fast lap because he didn’t want to give Karel Abraham a tow. Why should he care if he puts Abraham of all people on the front row? I can’tell stand that in moto3 either.
Piro was the one right behind him. I think the concern was a Ducati test rider doing recon.
Neither of them are a threat, both could’ve been useful road blocks for Maq’s escape. Insttead, he’s surrounded by all of the best guys.
