Misano MotoGP Qualifying Results

After winning his first MotoGP race last Sunday, Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) earned pole position for tomorrow’s Misano race with a new lap record during qualifying. Bagnaia’s teammate Jack Miller qualified in second position, with championship points leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) qualifying third. Ducatis will occupy four of the top five positions on the grid tomorrow.

Another interesting qualifying order. Looks like a inhales is happy with his move.

Should be a great race if the weather stays dry. It may be more “exciting” if it rains, but it won’t be better racing.

It’s looking more and more smart that Repsol booted Alex Marquez down and out of factory colors when they did.

Bagnaia is looking like he will be a force to contend with, no only for the remainder of this championship but certainly for the future as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if he captures a few of them. Good on Ducati for bringing him up to the factory.

As others have mentioned, Petronas won’t be featured fighting for podium spots with those two riders, yikes.

Looking forward to a hopefully dry race tomorrow. I predict Miller will crash out and a great fight between Bagnaia and Quartararo. Bring it on!

I personally never though Alex Marquez belonged in the premier class, which sounds odd considering he is a Moto3 and Moto2 champion.

Bagnaia took a while to find his groove, but I really thought he would bring something special to the class. I hope he maintains consistency and puts on a real title challenge in the years to come.
