Honda has released Part 1 of a video series “Behind the Dream” featuring Marc Marquez. The six-time MotoGP champion was dominating the sport when he broke his arm at the start of the 2020 series.
After coming back too soon and re-injuring the same arm, Marquez began an odyssey that now includes four separate surgeries on that arm and two episodes of double-vision. The result is forgettable results for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 MotoGP championship series.
Have a look at Part 1 of Behind the Dream:
I would have been great if they would have had him joke about what makes a champion is the ability to admit that you can’t grow a decent beard. So you do this thing called shave.
According to Ron Swanson, “the three measures of a man are: How thick a mustache can you grow, how much steak can you consume in one sitting, and how fast can you whittle a spear from a tree branch”.
None of this “promotion” matters. The only thing that matters is winning. We’ll see what happens next season.
Where can you by the tennis shoes he is wearing?
Interesting short video, offers some insights into Marquez’s situation and thinking. Sound track is a bit overly dramatic, but okay. Can’t help but wish Marc a full recovery following his 4th surgery and get even close to the rider he used to be. Godspeed.
Godspeed?
Sounds more the the speed of technological advances in surgical techniques.
