Phillip Island MotoGP Qualifying

Jorge Martin (Ducati) broke the nine-year-old lap record set by Jorge Lorenzo at Phillip Island earlier today to take pole position for tomorrow’s MotoGP race. Marc Marquez (Honda) lapped perfectly in the draft of Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) to take the second spot just ahead of Bagnaia in third. Championship points leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) qualified fifth quickest.
