Indonesian MotoGP Sprint Race Results

The Sprint race held earlier today saw Jorge Martin (Ducati) not only win the race (after starting sixth on the grid), but take the lead in the championship from Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) who finished eighth.

Bagnaia was forced to start from the fifth row of the grid after failing to move on to Q2. He has seen a massive points lead in the championship disappear in the last five rounds. He now sits seven points behind Martin going into tomorrow’s main event.

Filling out the podium in today’s race were Mooney VR46 teammates Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, each of whom rode with a recently plated collarbone injury.
