A nice breakdown of the process.

As a long time recreational track rider I do most of these things at a low intensity. Through my own pitiful efforts that barely scratch the surface of possibilities… I can appreciate how brilliant professional riders are!

Dany Pedrosa is cool as test rider on new motorcycles. Can get a podium accidenctly in 2023
    It depends.

King Kenny had to use a wad of duct tape as there were no knee skids in the beginning. He freaked out the euro riders with his style. They were still sitting upright in the corners they was!

I think about that kind of thing once in a while. You might think what they are doing now is extreme. Right up until some lanky new rider comes along with sliders on his shoulder and backside who just sort of flops into corners and uses his body as a fulcrum point to help drag the bike around corners.

I don’t need to watch the video – I’m on record commenting on this very thing here in fact – but the simple fact is it’s amazing to look at early pictures of 1st-gen hanging off – and dramatic as it seemed, it’s barely.

That said, Gabe’s repositioning when NOT hanging off is still correct.
