Reports from Australia indicate that Anthony Gobert will ride the MuZ GP 500 bike in this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix despite the injury to his shoulder incurred while motocross riding. This injury kept him out of the final round of the AMA Superbike series at Pike’s Peak International Raceway. One publication has indicated Gobert stated he would ride the 500 GP bike this weekend “even if he has to be strapped on it.” Apparently, Gobert is determined to immediately step back into 500 GP racing – despite his horrible experiences with the Suzuki GP team several years ago (which began with a series of broken collar bones and ended in his drug suspension by the FIM).
