The neo-retro MH900e revealed in concept form by Ducati last year will become a production
reality. Ducati will manufacture (literally by hand) 1000 units per year – for sale over the
internet (not your local dealer). Calling it the “first bike of the new millenium”, Ducati has remained
true to the critically acclaimed concept bike with few compromises.
Powered by a version of the 900SS motor, the 385 pound bike should have more than adequate performance. Big
Brembo brakes and modern suspension live side-by-side with the classic frame and bodywork. Truly a rideable piece of
art. We are blown away by the details – such as the chromoly, single-sided swingarm.
The price will be the same worldwide – 15,000 euros (approximately 15,000 US dollars at current exchange rates).
