The Misano round of the MotoGP championship series was held earlier today, and Honda’s Dani Pedrosa was able to win his second GP in a row by a relatively healthy margin over second place Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) and third place Valentino Rossi (Yamaha). Lorenzo continues to have a comfortable points lead in the championship.

I’d love to see the electronics between the riders ears. Can’t see it happening though. Have a couple of highsides and and paralysis and the electronics will be back. Wouldn’t need a litrebike if the electronics weren’t there. The 800s are probably as peaky as a 2 stroke if not for the electronics. It’s making aliens out of midpackers.
KR Jr and Rossi hopefully get Dorna’s attention to remove electronics from the bikes.
The engine rule also doesn’t seem like a good tool for the intended job.
Patrick: ???
Yes???
This class goes from bad to worse. I don’t think anyone would care if we just called the championship as it is and saved the fuel for next year. Something has to change here! Will the riders playing musical chairs help? We’ve got to hope so.
Otherwise, it’s over to you, Dorna.
Patrick, I think you hit the nail on the head. The racing gets less exciting as the years go by. The liter bikes with fewer electronics can’t come soon enough.
If you want to watch good racing, it’s WSB.
