We’ve shown you the U.S. color schemes for most of the 2001 sport bikes, but for Kawasaki, we have only shown you Europe’s colors.
In the U.S., the ZX-6R comes in three color schemes this year, including the multi-color yellow and multi-color green we have already shown you in our article dated September 19, 2000. The ZX-6R also comes in the “Candy Lighting Blue” shown above for 2001.
Below are the two U.S. color schemes available for the 9R for 2001.
As we previously mentioned, we believe there are no significant engineering changes to either the 6R or the 9R for 2001. We’ll pass along details from Kawasaki as soon as we receive them.
Also previously mentioned is the fact that Kawasaki will not introduce a new ZX-7R for 2001 — instead, last year’s model will carry over with new graphics.
