Honda’s Mike LaRocco won the World Supercross championship today in Germany. He reportedly climbed all the way to second place after crashing on the third lap, and remounting in 17th place. Yamaha’s Jeremy McGrath won the race, but a poor performance in race one (this was a two race series) eliminated him from an opportunity to win the championship.
The twelve year veteran LaRocco, who is a two-time Outdoor National Motocross champion, looks more ready than ever for the AMA 250 Supercross series beginning in Anaheim this coming January.
