Scott Russell is reportedly undergoing surgery at Halifax Memorial Hospital in Florida to repair broken bones in his left leg (femur), arm and wrist. Other than these injuries, Russell is reportedly okay — a great relief, given the severity of the impact shown on television.
We understand that Russell will be in the hospital for one week before being released. No one has offered any estimate of his recovery time at this point.
