A strange and difficult night for series’ points leaders Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) and James Stewart (Yamaha) ended with Trey Canard (Honda) taking the win in Jacksonville ahead of second place Chad Reed (Honda) and third place Ryan Dungey (Suzuki). Crashes prevented Villopoto from making the main event, and Stewart crashed out of the main event on the first lap. Nevertheless, Villopoto continues to lead the series in points.
In the Eastern Region Lites main event, Justin Barcia (Honda) extended his series points lead with another win ahead of second place Dean Wilson (Kawasaki) and third place Ryan Sipes (Yamaha).

Yeah, I know.
To me, the main event was a let-down with no Stewart/Villopoto battle for the championship.
At least Stewart’s OK, and when I saw the wreck I’d thought he got run over pretty good, too.
This gobbly-gook security thing you must decipher in order to post a comment just plain sucks.
What a weird night! Blame it on the full moon? James appears to have escaped serious injury.
