MD Readers Respond to Suzuki Boost King Concept

Suzuki’s design team seems to have hit a home run with the Boost King concept being shown in Tokyo this week. MD readers love it, with or without the turbo (or is that supercharger?). Bring it on, Suzuki!

  • Just in case you have an open ear at Suzuki listening, tell them to build it.
Yea, I know it needs to be tamed, but keep that to a minimum. Some of us
want big power, big suspension, etc… I love the styling. Just give Buell’s
    new front brake a chance.

  • Bring it on!
    I’ll take two…(really)

  • That boost king article really hit home. As long as it has a 200 mile range (at boost not 55mph). I’m with you on the looks, menacing (V Max style), with a motor to back it up. Not the usual – ”we took a good engine and detuned it (for torque) so you don’t hurt yourselves, we know skilled riders want an enclosed bike with lots of slash and splash graphics, squids wanna see/maintain the engine and change the bars to something suitable”.

  • However, what type of strapping system do they have for the rider once the bike lifts off?

  • I am sure you have read the Motorcycle News report that this bike is
supercharged. So which is it Turbo or Supercharged? Interesting looking bike, I think.

  • Hey, tell Suzuki to make this bike. I have the money ready right now. I will take it with or without the turbo. Turbo is prefered but beggars can’t be choosers. Thank you. I will let you know how it handles when I pick it up.

  • Dear GOD, who do I need to send an e-mail to, so the Boast King Lives!!!!!!!!!!! Who should I address my comments to “o wise one”?

  • Man I hope they make it. It’s the talk of the net!!!!!!

  • What can I say (what with a mouth full of drool and all)? Nothing – other than this is the first, and ONLY bike I have ever seen that would not only make me think about trading in my beloved Vmax, but would actually make me do it. I would sell my bike and my wife’s to get this bike in my hands!

  • I used to work in a Suzuki dealership. We had a hard time keeping enough
regular Hayabusa’s, I dont think there would be a problem selling the Boost
King. Bring it on Suzuki, me and my friends cant wait. Do it before Yamaha
    does.

  • Please, please post users email to you regarding this topic online. This is the most beautiful naked bike I have ever seen. Even without all the gizmos and without the turbo it still would be a great, great bike. Suzuki should build it. If they did, I’m sure it would be an instant best seller. This bike is gorgeous.

  • Gentleman, Who do I have to get a response to to let them know I will be the first one in line for this bike! Holy shit… this thing is awesome.
Thanks for the letting us in the US know that this thing is a possibility!! Great site.
