Tune in Alert: 2011 Rockstar Energy RedBud National Weekend Broadcast Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (June 30, 2011) – The 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship will reach the halfway point this Saturday, July 2, celebrating the Independence Day holiday from the popular RedBud facility in Buchanan, Mich. The Rockstar Energy RedBud National will mark the sixth of 12 rounds this summer, and the action will kick off on Saturday at 1 p.m. EST, with live first-moto coverage of the 450 and 250 classes on FUEL TV.

RedBud will also mark the live debut of American Motocross on NBC Sports. Final moto coverage of the premier 450 Class will showcase the continued battle between TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, and Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey, atop the division standings. Coverage starts at 5 p.m. EST.

Additionally, live final moto coverage from RedBud will be showcased internationally in Europe, Australia and Brazil on Motors TV, SPEED Australia and ESPN Brazil, respectively. Domestic coverage comes to a close on Saturday evening, with a showcase of Moto 2 for the 250 Class on SPEED, beginning at 10 p.m. EST.

Prior to Saturday’s Rockstar Energy RedBud National, FUEL TV will relive the excitement from last weekend’s Toyota Trucks Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colo. The Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Highlight Show from Thunder Valley MX Park will air tonight at 10 p.m. EST/PST. The one-hour highlight package will recap each moto from the fifth round of the 2011 championship, which was won by Dungey and Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett.

    Once again, I’m totally confused as to where to watch motocross. I think I have to watch the first motos online somewhere?? Then watch local broadcasting at midnight to see the interviews. Then the second moto will highlights will be shown on the following Friday on the Oprah network. I HATE SPEED TV TO DEATH!!!!!
