Ducati has announced that Neil Hodgson will be promoted to the factory WSB squad for 2003 — on a team consisting of Hodgson and a second, unnamed rider.
Ducati, of course, will contest the MotoGP championship in 2003, as well as the WSB championship. It is widely expected that WSB champion Troy Bayliss will be moved to the Ducati MotoGP squad next year, but Ducati has made nothing official regarding the future of Bayliss and his current WSB teammates, Ruben Xaus and Ben Bostrom.
