The 2003 Mille Is Largely Unchanged
Our sources indicate that Aprilia has a well developed prototype of the next Mille that makes a quantum leap, in terms of both engine performance and handling, over the current model. Aprilia apparently had thoughts of releasing the bike as a 2003 model at Intermot, but we now know that this did not happen.
Although there is some chance that the redesigned Mille will be released mid-year, it will more likely be presented in September 2003 at Milan as a 2004 model.
