The 2004 Kawasaki/Suzuki 250cc four-stroke motocross bike announced a month ago (going on sale in September of this year) is already participating in Japanese motocross events. The Japanese motocross magazine Dirt Cool has posted photos of the new bike on its web site here.
The photos reveal what we anticipated in our article dated February 18, 2003 (i.e., that the engine is housed in a version of Kawasaki’s new-generation perimeter frame introduced on its 2003 model two-stroke motocrossers). The bike also appears to have the short seat height found on the Kawasaki two-strokes. We will keep you updated as we learn more about these exciting new motocrossers.
