M1 PowerSports and Arai Helmet Announce Multi-Year Sponsorship of Triumph Big Kahuna Triple Crown

DENVER, Colo. (March 2, 2012) – M1 PowerSports and Arai Helmet have enjoyed a successful history of cooperative marketing initiatives over the past decade and officials from both companies are excited to announce that they have reached an agreement for a multi-year sponsorship of the Triumph Big Kahuna Triple Crown, which will begin with the 2012 Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta at Road Atlanta, scheduled for April 20 – 22, 2012.

“Arai has been a close partner of ours for many years and we’re thrilled to be working with them once again,” said Cameron Gray, CEO of M1 PowerSports. “They’re a high-quality company with highly skilled and passionate employees. Their creative marketing ideas are going to be a huge part of what drives the success of the M1 mission to ‘Get People Back to the Track.’ Promoting until the point that the Big Kahuna becomes more than just an incredible AMA Pro Road Racing event is what we do best, and thanks to Arai we will be able to deliver even more entertainment value to all of our amazing and loyal customers.”

Round one of the Triumph Big Kahuna Triple Crown marks the return of M1 PowerSports to full-time promotion of North American motorcycle road racing at the historic venue where they started it all, Road Atlanta. Round two of the Big Kahuna Triple Crown begins when AMA Pro Road Racing and M1 PowerSports take to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Big Kahuna Miami on September 21 – 23, 2012 before closing out the season at NOLA Motorsports on October 5 – 7, 2012 for the Big Kahuna New Orleans.

“It’s great to see the ‘Big Kahuna’ back in the series, and Arai is thrilled to again be a part of such an iconic event,” said Brian Weston, Director of Operations for Arai Americas. “The fact that M1 PowerSports came back with a three-race Big Kahuna Triple Crown for 2012 is just icing on the cake. M1 puts on first-class events, and I expect that all three Big Kahuna events this year will live up to their well-deserved reputation, which is why Arai made every effort to return as an event sponsor.”
