The Latus Motors Racing team will pay tribute to Gary Nixon at this year’s Daytona 200 by featuring racing leathers, team uniforms and a paint scheme reminiscent of Nixon’s from the 1960s and early 70s, including defending Daytona 200 winner DiSalvo wearing the number 9.
Nixon’s legendary Triumph 750cc triple will be on display at the track throughout the weekend and at Triumph of Daytona on Wednesday, March 14 from 3 p.m.–4 p.m. where Team Latus’ DiSalvo and Dustin Dominguez will sign autographs. Commemorative t-shirts will also be sold all week with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Gary Nixon Memorial Fund.
