Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin had a perfect day at Road America. In the first race of a double header (the second race is tomorrow), Mladin took the victory, and added those points to his pole position point to take the series lead back from teammate Aaron Yates, who suffered a DNF (mechanical). Indeed, the other challenger for the series championship lead, Kawasaki’s Eric Bostrom, had an uncharacteristically bad day, as well, finishing twelfth after having to pit with just a few laps remaining in the race.
Finishing second to Mladin was Honda’s Miguel Duhammel, with Kurtis Roberts (Erion Honda) third.
