It has become common knowledge on the Net that Mike Metzger had a nasty crash during a back flip gone wrong last week, while preparing for the X-Games. Although bruised and battered, a bit, we understand that Metz will be ready for the X-Games competition this coming weekend (Big Air and Freestyle). He may possibly miss the Step-Up competition this Friday.
If healthy, Metz would have to remain the favorite for gold in both events, particularly in light of Travis Pastrana’s recent injury problems.
