Everyone expects a new Suzuki GSX-R600 for 2004. It should be announced in September. The current model is due for replacement, and Suzuki cannot afford to fall out of step with this ultra-competitive class.
We haven’t heard too much in the way of rumors about a new GSX-R600, except that its style should mimic, to some extent, the GSX-R1000 introduced last year. It is interesting to note, however, that Suzuki has, more than once, introduced a new GSX-R600 that has set new standards for peak horsepower and light weight in the 600 class. We would expect nothing less from the 2004 GSX-R600. We should know next month (about the dry weight, at least).
