Colin Edwards keeps racking up the pole positions this year – this time taking pole for tomorrow’s Hockenheim World Superbike races. Edwards was fastest after both regular qualifying and SuperPole, just as Troy Bayliss (Ducati) was second fastest after both qualifying formats.
Indeed, Bayliss was most impressive at Hockenheim – his first event as a full-factory Ducati Corse rider. After regular qualifying, Bayliss was quite a bit quicker than every other rider, with the exceptions of Edwards and his Honda teammate Aaron Slight.Qualifying Results – Fastest Lap of Two Sessions (Top 10)
