Andrew Short (Honda) won his first Supercross main event last evening in Seattle ahead of Ken Roczen (KTM) in second and Jake Weimer (Kawasaki) in third. Champion Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) crashed on the first lap and suffered a season-ending knee injury (see our article dated April 24, 2012). Former champ Ryan Dungey (KTM) returned from his broken collarbone to finish sixth.

That was a great race with Short & Roczen exchanging the lead a few times- cleanly, unlike the lites main event.
I have always been a Dean Wilson fan, but Eli Tomac sure had enough of the off track excursions Wilson sent him on. This battle for the EC lites championship looks like it could be real good.
