World Ducati Week 2012 just wrapped up at Misano, and the record setting crowd seemed to have a blast. The videos below will give you a taste for the experience. By the way, in the Ducati Diavel drag race event (one of the videos below), MotoGP and WSB stars, past and present, squared off in elimination rounds. Is this like Sturgis, where all of the bikes are brought in on trailers?

It is a shame that the jap companies do not get how to do this for their customers. Honda is loosing ground with their pathetic lack of new exciting motorcycles but ITS A HONDA!!! Suzuki has not had any new major changes either and have a problem supplying bikes. Kudos to Ducati!

actually the REAL shame is that devaluing customers don’t support jap companies. the majority now just look to see how much they can hitchhike on the back of the manufacturers and the industry. honda used to hold something every year in knoxville called the Honda Hoot so they understand plenty. the only reason one would think suzuki needs major changes is if they are ignorant to the tanker load of changes they’ve delivered without fail for the past 25 YEARS (see entry for GSXR line)…!!! tail wags the dog, not the other way ’round. time has come for anyone who rides to ask themselves, are they a motorcyclist…? or are they a run o’ the mill walmart consumer…?

They wasted no time getting Audis on board, didn’t they, with the new ownership and all?
    Were those Diavels diesel powered?

    • Roberto says:

Not diesel powered but all wheel drive 😉

this is CARWARS, it’s important that the brief association with mercedes be stamped out and the new connection with the 4 interlocking rings commence post-haste. rest assured, BMW’s not standing pat.
