Marco Melandri posted his first double win today for both himself and his employer (BMW) during the Brno WSB round. In the process, Melandri cut the championship points lead of Max Biaggi (Aprilia) to just 21 points. Kawasaki’s Tom Sykes posted a strong second place finish in both races, ahead of third place Loris Baz (Kawasaki) in Race 1 and Carlos Checa (Ducati) in Race 2.

Well, Ricardo, don’t forget that as Great a Racer Carlos is now,was once, and shall always be, …….he’s starting to show his age……I will agree he’s one of the most dangerous dudes out there as far as his experiance and fit with the particular factory that employs him. Still we must recognise the “other” competitors and wake to the fact that there is nothing wrong with Checa; He’d be the first to admit that nobody wins them all….What kind of Champion would he be if he won it against a bunch of losers?
What is happening to Checa? he was so good last year and so consistent that now he looks as if he does not care for a pocium any more, maybe he is thinking about retiring? I really like his ridng style.
re: “What is happening to Checa?”
+6 in combination with 50mm corks is what’s happening to checa.
