Hacking Wins AMA 600 Supersport
Yamaha’s Jamie Hacking won the AMA 600 Supersport race today at Laguna Seca. Hacking pulled a fairly sizable gap on second place Eric Bostrom (Kawasaki).
Third place Nicky Hayden (Honda) inherited his position when his brother Tommy Hayden (Yamaha) crashed out of third place just a few hundred yards from the finish line (in turn 11 — the last turn on the track). Tommy was able to re-mount and finish fifth, however.
Kawasaki’s Bostrom has a slim lead in the 600 championship points race over Honda’s Kurtis Roberts (who finished sixth today).
