Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) clinched his fourth AMA Supercross title tonight with a third-place finish in the 250cc main at Houston’s Reliant Stadium. Carmichael crossed the line some 17 seconds behind race winner James Stewart (Kawasaki). Close behind Stewart in second place was Yamaha’s Chad Reed.
In the 125cc class, Andrew Short (Honda) took the win over Billy Laninovich (Honda), with Broc Hepler (Suzuki) in third.
