Although Triumph had been planning to reveal the 2006 Daytona 675 a bit later, this photo is all over the Internet, and British magazine BIKE has already published a 32 page article on the Daytona 675 . . . including a test ride report! So much for embargos.
Triumph claims roughly 123 horsepower at the crank and a dry weight of 363 pounds. Expect the Daytona 675 (an in-line three-cylinder) to be extremely narrow at the rider’s knees (narrower than any of the current 600cc, four-cylinder Japanese sport bikes). We will see the new Daytona 675 in the flesh soon, and follow up with more details and pictures.
