Kawasaki’s Ricky Carmichael dominated the 250 main event in Phoenix, Arizona last night when Yamaha mounted Jeremy McGrath got a poor start (ninth place after lap one). McGrath charged to second place, with Mike LaRocco (Honda) finishing third.
Ernesto Fonseca (Yamaha) took his YZ250F to his third victory in the 125 class in four events this year. Second place went to KTM’s Grant Langston.
McGrath and Carmichael are tied for the 250 points lead after four rounds, while Fonseca is out front in 125 points.
