In an article last week that now seems somewhat prescient (not that it was too hard to figure out), I speculated that since he looks unlikely to win this year’s MotoGP title, Valentino Rossi might forgo his planned move to Formula 1 to remain in MotoGP for 2007.
According to a report by the Reuters news agency, Rossi has decided to stay in MotoGP next year. Check out the full text of the story here.
What about the title of this article? Well, after being informed of Rossi’s decision to continue racing motorcycles, F1 champ Fernando Alonso (who started a much-publicized spat with Rossi by claiming that he could run at the front of a MotoGP race after a little practice) was quoted as saying in his non-native English, “Good. Like this we don’t talk anything more about him”.
