Kawasaki’s Ricky Carmichael took his fifth straight 250cc supercross victory this evening in New Orleans, Louisiana. Suzuki’s Kevin Windham rode well to second place, with Honda’s Mike LaRocco third. Yamaha-mounted Jeremy McGrath finished fourth after a crash.
Suzuki’s Travis Pastrana won the 125cc event over Mike Brown (Kawasaki).
Carmichael stretches his points lead to 16 over McGrath, while Yamaha’s Nate Ramsey continues to lead the 125 East championship series.
