The Ricky Carmichael juggernaut rolls on with his ninth straight victory in St. Louis last evening aboard the factory Kawasaki. With Yamaha’s Jeremy McGrath finishing off the podium in fourth place, Carmichael now has a huge points’ lead going into the final four races of the championship. Finishing second and third, respectively, were Kevin Windham (Suzuki) and Ezra Lusk (Honda).
In the 125 class, Suzuki’s Travis Pastrana took his fourth victory in the East Coast series, and now has an 11 point lead over Yamaha’s Nathan Ramsey, who finished second on the evening.
