Yamaha’s Anthony Gobert recovered from a trip to the gravel trap to win the second superbike race at Road America this weekend. Finishing second in the wet race was Honda’s Miguel DuHamel.
Suzuki’s Mat Mladin, the championship points leader, crashed twice, but a red-flag restart of the race allowed him to work his way up into seventh place. Mladin maintains a healthy points lead in the championship.
