With the extreme heat continuing for yet another day, Ducati’s Troy Bayliss and Ben Bostrom each took a victory today at Round Eight of the WSB championship in Misano, San Marino. In race one, Bayliss and Bostrom battled the entire race, with Bayliss taking the lead on the final lap. Race two saw Bostrom dicing with privateer Ducati rider Neil Hodgson, who had to retire due to his rear tire shredding with just three laps to go. Bayliss came up from a bad start, battling to pass Kawasaki’s Gregorio Lavilla and Aprilia’s Alessandro Antonello, to take over second place when Hodgson retired.
