High Point Raceway – Mt. Morris, Pa. – June 14
- High Point will host its 38th Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National.
- The UPMC Sports Medicine High Point National is the only round in the state of Pennsylvania.
- The High Point National is located only 15 miles from MX Sports headquarters in Morgantown, West Virginia, serving as the home race of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
- High Point Raceway also hosts a round of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Series.
- High Point and Hangtown share the distinction of having the most international winners, with seven different riders combined across the 450 and 250 Classes.
- For the last six seasons, the 450 Class winner at High Point has gone on to win the championship.
- Ryan Dungey currently holds second place on the All-Time Race Wins list with 28 career wins. Ricky Carmichael is at the top with 76 career wins.
- Hometown hero Darryn Durham will not compete in his home state of Pennsylvania for this year’s High Point National due to injury.
- Jeremy Martin has swept five of the first six motos in the 250 Class, putting Yamaha on-track to capture its first 250 Class championship since 1992. Yamaha riders Cooper Webb and Christophe Pourcel sit second and third respectively through the first three rounds.
450 Class Stats
- The first 450 Class race was held at High Point on May 29, 1977. Tony Distefano won on a Suzuki.
- This will be the 38th time the gate will drop for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at High Point.
- In 2011, Ryan Villopoto became the sixth different rider in history to win in both the 450 Class and 250 Class at High Point.
- Chad Reed is the only rider in history to get his first career wins in both the 450 Class and 250 Class at High Point.
- Five different riders have won the 450 Class at High Point in the last seven years.
- Four of the last seven High Point winners are all former Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Champions and will be lining up in the 450 Class Saturday.
- Ricky Carmichael is the winningest rider at High Point, with six-consecutive victories from 2002-2007.
