If the Michelin MotoGP riders thought they deserved a break after the disaster at Laguna Seca a few weeks ago, they were wrong. Even though we have only had practice for Sunday’s Brno round, the writing is already on the wall.
Bridgestone brought the right goods to Brno, and the six fastest riders today (nine of the top ten spots, in fact) were on Bridgestones. The recently resurfaced Brno circuit posed challenges for both tire manufacturers, but Bridgestone has tested on the new surface and figured it out. Once again, Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi were much quicker than anyone else and, barring something relatively unforeseen, one of them will bring home the victory for Bridgestone on Sunday.
