Michelin riders seemed a bit happier today during open practice for this weekend’s Misano MotoGP race. Although Bridgestone had the three quickest times, the Michelin riders were generally in the hunt, and certainly not angry or frustrated . . . as they have been ever since Michelin showed up at Laguna Seca with uncompetitive rubber. Could we see Jorge Lorenzo battling at the front once again? The fastest Michelin man earlier this year, Lorenzo is talking like he is ready to re-assert himself this weekend at Misano.
