Honda’s Ricky Carmichael remains undefeated after today’s Mt. Morris 250 MX National. Carmichael swept both motos, and has now won all six motos run this year in the series. Carmichael’s teammate Sebastien Tortelli was second overall (2/2), while Kawasaki’s Ezra Lusk was third (3/3).
In the 125 class, Yamaha YZ250F-mounted Chad Reed dominated both motos, and takes the points lead in the series away from Kawasaki’s James Stewart. Stewart rode today despite injuring his knee in practice yesterday. Stewart finished fourth in the first moto, but DNF’d the second with mechanical problems. Branden Jesseman (Suzuki) finished second in the 125 class with 5/2 moto scores.
