Yamaha’s Chad Reed won his fourth straight 250 Supercross main event this evening in Irving, Texas. Honda’s Ricky Carmichael, who got the holeshot on the evening, was passed by Reed (actually, each of these two riders traded the lead several times before the half way mark), and finished the race near Reed’s rear fender. Honda’s Ernesto Fonseca finished third.
In the 125 West Region main event, Kawasaki’s James Stewart won the race and clinched the Western Region title. Finishing second was Travis Preston (Honda), with Matt Walker (Kawasaki) third.
With two events remaining, Reed has reduced Carmichael’s points lead to 13.
