The Moto Guzzi display at Intermot includes the new Audace Carbon employing the 1380 cc v-twin. Based on the standard Audace previously tested by MD, the Audace Carbon has revised ergonomics and finishing. Carbon front mud guard and fuel tank sides combine with red finish cylinder head covers and new radiator grill for a unique look.
Ergos include a new handlebar shape which reaches back toward the rider slightly. No word yet on U.S. availability date or pricing.

This motorbike cries out for a 6 gallon tank and a remapping or whatever it takes to achieve 45 mpg highway average. Minimum. Guzzi is like Harley. A company with a heritage worth paying stylistic homage to. For that matter, so too is Honda and with the new CB1100RS they are finally doing so.
The new V9 Guzzi are nice but hindered by small tanks that (again) keep you from roaming. Yeah, that was a jab at the new “Roamer”. As for the other v9 model, it can bob for all I care.
Not my cup of tea. A lot of us Guzzi folks are waiting for EICMA and what we hope is an expanded and sportier, lighter, more all-round V9 based range.
How about a new Moto Guzzi Le Mans in the traditional red? It’s got the whole retro bike thing going for it, which would be a big draw and would excuse less than class-leading performance (which you just aren’t going to get out of a V9 or derivative).
Carbon on a Guzzi? Isn’t that like putting titanium mirrors on an F350 SuperDuty truck, to reduce the weight by a couple irrelevant ounces? Though I admit, looks nice on the Guzzi.
A very nice bike, but really now. The gas tank is too small for the mpg delivered. You can go somewhere so long as you carefully plan your fuel stops.
A 1400cc twin should deliver more mpg than this does. I would like to own either an Eldorado or the 1400 Touring mount but again, the tank is what…5.4 gallons? This bike gets (per rider reports) anywhere from 23 to 35 mpg?
Why?
