Ducati teammates Ruben Xaus and Neil Hodgson split victories today at the Assen WSB round, with Xaus and Hodgson finishing first and second, respectively, in race one, and reversing their order in race two. Pier-Francesco Chili (Ducati) finished third in race one, with Gregorio Lavilla (Suzuki) third in race two.
Hodgson also wrapped up the 2003 WSB championship with his performance today at Assen. Hodgson has had an incredible year, and a huge points lead for quite some time. With two rounds remaining, Hodgson can begin thinking about his rumored MotoGP career beginning next year on a Ducati.
