Team Belgium, which dominated qualifying yesterday, proved too tough for the rest of the world today while taking a solid victory at the Motocross des Nations. Belgium’s five points bested the United States in second place, with ten points. Finland finished third with sixteen points.
The only highlight for the United States was the dominance of Ricky Carmichael, who passed all of the European greats, including Stefan Everts, to take the overall, individual victory. Everts finished second, overall.
