Adorning Italian WorldSBK fans in for a treat at Imola

As the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship heads to Northern Italy for the fifth round of the season anticipation is building, but it’s not only on track action that will keep the hoards of fans entertained over the weekend. Read on to see what else the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola circuit has to offer. Whether you’re camping only one km from the circuit or are making use of the helmet guard service, don’t miss out.

Continuing to thrill and entertain fans all around the world in the opening rounds of the season, the Paddock Show welcomes a packed time-table in the Motul Italian Round. Action begins on stage from Thursday with an additional autograph session with local heroes from 15h. Heading into the weekend fans are able to access the paddock for free on Friday with any ticket type, and action will start on stage from 9.45h keeping everyone entertained throughout the day.

All three days will be filled with on stage quizzes, guest commentary and chat shows, before the Opening Day Show at 17.30 on Friday evening. Catch up with all the inside lines from free practise, before the jam packed Saturday at the Paddock Show. Fashion shows and race chats are on the agenda for Saturday, before the ever popular SuperShow which will ensure fans hear all the important reactions from Superpole’s and Race One. Sunday welcomes the Motul Race Chats, live commentary on all racing action and the big end to the weekend; where you can hear from the top three riders in each class as well as local heroes from each round. The Paddock Show ensures fans can keep as close to the action as possible.

Continuing their support as round and title sponsor, French company Motul are bringing their Motul Legend Stunt Team to entertain fans over the weekend. On track from 12.15h – 12.30h on Saturday and from 10.25h – 11.00h on Sunday, fans will be able to see the team take on the historic circuit. Alternatively if they head over to the SBK Village, fans will be treated to watching the Stunt Team up close throughout the weekend.

Offering two chances to experience the Pit Walk, Italian fans will be able to take in the surroundings of the WorldSBK Pit Lane providing they have purchased a Superticket. On Saturday from 15.45h and Sunday from 10.25h, the pit lane will be opened to fans with all riders out at the front of their garages to greet their supporters. Providing even more opportunities to secure that sought after autograph, the Pit Walk is not one to miss.

New to WorldSBK for 2017, Seat are offering fans the chance of a test drive around the outskirts of the circuit, meaning fans can see even more of the historic area. Once you enter the paddock, it’s not only hospitality and team trucks on offer to experience. The fan zone will be open from Friday to Sunday and will include a Seat Simulator, Prosecco tasting, Acerbis Photoshooting, Shad Photoshooting and Official merchandising. Soak up the full paddock experience and make the most of all it has to offer. Fans also have the opportunity to explore the SBK Village, which provides Kawasaki and Ducati test rides, Seat Parcours, shops and merchandising.
