In another unsurprising weekend of AMA Outdoor National MX racing, James Stewart (Kawasaki) went 1-1 for 1st overall in the 125cc class at Washougal today, and Honda’s Ricky Carmichael topped both motos in the 250cc class to continue his perfect season.
Suzuki’s younger talent had some good finishes in the 125cc class today, with Brock Hepler taking second in the first moto over Kawasaki’s Paul Carpenter, and Davi Millsaps taking third in the second moto behind Greg Schnell (Honda). Hepler came home fourth in the second moto, his 2-4 finishes giving him 2nd overall. Carpenter’s 3-10 was good enough for 3rd overall.
The 250cc class podium was identical for both motos, with Chad Reed (Yamaha) taking 2-2 and Kevin Windham going 3-3. For more details, results, and points, visit the official AMA MX site here.
