Heading into the much anticipated Italian rounds of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, STIHL and Dorna WSBK Organization are delighted to announce they will collaborate once again in 2018. Offering Italian fans exclusive experiences of their large array of products, they will be on hand to match the sensational on track action.
Welcoming the first opportunity to showcase their products to Italian fans this weekend at Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola, there will be STIHL products on display in the unique SBK Village throughout the weekend. If fans missed out on the opportunity to see their products on display at Imola, there will be a second chance in July as the WorldSBK circus rolls into Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, whilst the company will show their support for the series throughout the remainder of 2018.
Founded by Andreas Stihl in the 1920’s, the company continues to grow as they provide high quality products to ease work surrounding professional forestry and agriculture globally. With a strong reputation, STIHL are dedicated in providing a second to none service all to all customers.
Massimo Gallo, Managing Director of STIHL Italia is delighted to support WorldSBK once again: “We have chosen to collaborate with WorldSBK as a partner for the 2018 season, sponsoring a corner at both Imola and Misano circuits. Why have we chosen this sponsorship? For the reach it brings us, the growth of this championship, the level of technology of the races themselves and the fact that motorsport fans are very close to our target audience. High-tech and successful products like those from STIHL fit perfectly into today’s World Superbike Championship.”
Marc Saurina, WorldSBK Commercial and Marketing Director adds: “We are delighted to welcome back STIHL to both the Italian rounds of the WorldSBK championship, as we had such success with them last season. We share the same values, as we strive to provide the best possible experience meaning it makes for a strong partnership, one which we hope to welcome at more rounds throughout the season. Having them present at two of the biggest rounds of the season is a great addition to the championship as a whole.”
