Preparing to host round nine of the season under the sunny skies of Italy, Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli has a spectacular weekend of action in store for fans travelling to the 4.2km circuit this weekend. With DJ sets, the all new Parc Ferme experience and plenty of entertainment, there’s no better way to spend a summers weekend.
La Notte Rosa 2018 falls on the same weekend as the Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round, meaning there is double the celebration in Misano. #LaNotteRosaSBK kicks off in Misano on Friday night, as WorldSBK riders will be present to get the party vibes going. Welcoming Toprak Razgatlioglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing), Lorenzo Savadori (Milwaukee Aprilia), Xavi Fores (BARNI Racing Team), Roman Ramos (Team GoEleven Kawasaki), Loris Baz (GULF Althea BMW Racing Team) and Manuel Puccetti himself, the party starts at 21.00 and goes on into the night, with a complete DJ set.
Set along the Rimini coastline, the circuit is set to play host to some stunning racing and for the first time at the track fans can celebrate with the riders and teams in Parc Ferme for the all new experience. Watch as the stars of the race ride through the paddock, into Parc Ferme and then head onto the all new podium experience, before then hearing from the stars themselves on the Paddock Show Stage for the sensational Podium Show. Coupled with Friday’s Opening Day Show and Saturday’s SuperShow, you will have the chance to see all your WorldSBK heroes up close.
With free access into the paddock for children under the age of 12 alongside a paying adult, there will be plenty to see and do this weekend with the Fan Zone and SBK® Village. Offering Prosecco distribution, Acerbis and Shad product displays, bikes to check out and WorldSBK merchandise to support your favourites, it will keep you busy when bikes roll back into pit lane. Stunt shows and mini bike tracks will be on offer in the SBK® village all weekend, keeping the adrenaline pumping throughout the whole weekend.
Saturday afternoon is bound to be a highlight in the paddock for the adoring WorldSBK fans, as the gates are open to all ticket holders meaning they can truly get the taste of behind the scenes paddock action. Opening at 15.30, just after track action finishes, it’s the perfect opportunity to end a stunning day of racing action as the SuperShow and DJ set from Virgin Radio rounds out the day.
Don’t miss out on all the sensational WorldSBK action, on and off the track this weekend as summer takes a break for the WorldSBK weekend.
